Welcome to The Book People

A place for readers and the endlessly curious.

Ray believed books could change lives, open doors, and help us to become more fully ourselves. He also believed reading was something to be shared - passed between friends, discussed late into the night, carried through life, and handed on to the next generation.

The Book People is both a reading community and a gateway into the wider world of Bradbury. Here you can explore The Machine of Joy,  access exclusive content, and stay connected to the latest news, releases, and discoveries connected to his life and work.

And like any good library, this is a place that continues to grow. As part of The Book People, you can leave something behind for the next reader, passing on your love of reading by adding your own recommendations to The Machine of Joy and helping shape the paths others might follow next.
