Night Shift

I revisit this collection of short stories every couple of years and it never ceases to delight me. I love King’s ability to take something very simple, trucks coming to life, a possessed laundry press, a satyr landscaper, and just run wild with it. The stories are imaginative and fun in a way that evokes early Ray Bradbury.
