Although Rod Serling's landmark anthology series developed its own distinctive identity, Bradbury's influence can be felt throughout The Twilight Zone. Several episodes were adapted from his stories, including I Sing the Body Electric, which Bradbury wrote directly for the programme.
The series shared many of Bradbury's concerns: technology, loneliness, conformity, childhood, memory, and the dangers hidden beneath everyday life. Together, Serling and Bradbury helped establish the anthology format as one of television's most powerful storytelling forms.
