Does anyone know the projected release date of Mr. Weller's book on Bradbury?

Thanks!

All I've heard is that it is expected to be released sometime this year (2004). If someone (Sam?) has more specifics, that would be great!

As all things are very tentative in the world of publishing, the biography is scheduled for release in March of '05. Baring any major difficulties, I would imagine this is pretty firm. I am turning in the manuscript in early May.

The working title that both Ray and I are championing is:

Ray Bradbury
Predicting the Past, Remembering the Future
the authorized biography

we'll see if that flies. The sub-title is a mouthful, but, we feel, very indictive of our favorite nostalgic visionary.

I have talked to the super helpful and lovely Dandelion about this, but if any of you are aware of quotes or testimonials from cultural icons regarding Ray Bradbury, let me know where to find them. I have great quotes from all sorts of pop culture luminaries on Ray's impact, but I am always looking for more. Of course, I need to know the source to verify the quote.

Thanks!

Sam Weller

Love the sub-title.

Didn't Brer Fox say he was the sneakiest varmint that ever . . .
Oh wait. Wait. Sorry. He said that about Brer Rabbitbury.
Seriously - your subtitle has the right kind of beauty. Count me as one of its champions. Not that you need my approval
